# Buyback and Double

The $25 pack asks you to choose after the reveal. The Garage Pack does not. It sells the car during the open and pays the buyback in USDG.

The names stay the same on the button and in the result.

## Buyback

Buyback pays the quote locked at open. The payment is the amount the buyback actually returns, in USDG on Robinhood Chain, to the wallet that paid for the pack. A pack paid in Hyperliquid USDC is bought back in that same USDG.

On the $25 pack the card stays in the Capsule vault. On the Garage Pack the car was sold on Solana as part of the open. You do not receive the NFT.

If you do not choose within 24 hours on the $25 pack, Capsule runs this buyback for you. The Garage Pack does not wait for that window.

## Double

Double is offered only on the $25 pack, and only when the card is Common. The Garage Pack does not offer it.

Capsule rolls a number from 0 through 99.

* Below 49, you win. Capsule pays 2× the buyback quote locked at open, in USDG, and lists that same card as a 7-day loan. See [Lend](/product/lend.md).
* 49 or above, you lose. You receive nothing. Capsule keeps the card.

A win that nobody funds within 2 days is cancelled and sold back to Collector Crypt. A win that is funded stays a loan for the term. A loss is not sold on that 2-day timer.

The card does not go into a loan unless Double wins. Buyback does not list the card.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The Solana NFT is not transferred to you on a win or on a buyback. On the $25 pack it stays in the Capsule vault until a loan default sends it to the funder who asks for it.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://doc.ripcapsule.io/product/buyback-and-double.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
